PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT

 

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to protect departments and funding authorized by the United State Congree.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This joint resolution may be cited as the “Co-Equal Branch of Government”.

SEC. 2. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.

The following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States:

Article  —

SECTION 1 – Funding authorized by Congress and subsequently approved by the President of the United States of America, in accordance with the Constitution, shall not be withdrawn or defunded by the executive branch of government without the expressed authority of the Congress of the United States by a two-third vote of each body of Congress.

SECTION 2 – Any executive board created by Congress in which members of that board have been appointed by the President with the advice and consent of Senate, shall only be removed at the request of the President and approval of the United State Senate.”
